From Fat to Flat – The Television November 10, 2011

Television, the most well loved medium besides the internet, and its legislative history. It was invented by Nipkow, Baird and Zworykin.

The final set of these photographs of mine. This was Sheffield City Hall. May 24, 1977 .Tom Verlaine (Vocals and Guitar); Richard Lloyd (Guitar and Vocals); Fred Smith (Bass); and Billy Ficca (Drums). Ifound some ancient 35mm slides collecting dust in a box in my attic. Spent some time carefully restoring/enhancing them, and I uploaded them here for your entertainment, and in the administer culture how to use Sony Vegas! Looking at these it’s fascinating to compare the flash shots to the available lighting ones. I very rarely used flash for any of the concerts I photographed. You gain an depression of detail, but lose a lot of the mood in my opinion. These were from my glory days (LOL) Some time later I started by negative material, which also seemed to give more crisp images, but lost a lot of the atmosphere. Excellent ancient Ektachrome! Got some honestly decent close ups of the band from right down at the front. The music is from Television 1976-12-28 CBGB, NYC Delight in!
